Welcome back to Sacred Sunsets. I'm getting really excited for this podcast and for my upcoming grief coaching program. The more I get into this topic, the more I learn and understand, the more I look forward to sharing it with people I serve. With the mortality rate in life being a hundred percent, it's guaranteed that each of us will die and we each will have to face death of loved ones in our lives. Right? We will also have times in our lives that other friends and family in our lives lose loved ones. Unfortunately, though, in our grief and death illiterate society, we often don't know how to be there for someone who's grieving and so many people inadvertently say things or give advice that isn't helpful and may even be hurtful.

So what should we do or not do when it comes to comforting those who stand in need of comfort? What are the best and worst things to say to those who are grieving? I hope to answer those questions for you in this episode.
